I am an origami artist, photographer and many other things. I'm also a marine biologist and am currently completing my honours on the social structure and habitat use of the indo-pacific humpback dolphins in Morten Bay, QLD, Australia! I love all things to do the with ocean, especially cetaceans, and am also passionate about Doctor Who, anything Tolkien, karate and mountain biking!! A friend in need...

Hi guys, I know I've not been around much but I'm having the most amazing (and busy :phew:) time with my honours (and now working as well!) and planning my wedding haha. BUT I also have some amazing photos to share too. I am hoping to put those up in a few days or so. Anyway, the real reason for this journal is that my dear friend smudge-92 (https://www.deviantart.com/smudge-92) 's wonderful dog, Finn has been having some trouble. He's been sick and had multiple trips to the vet and may possibly (hopefully not!!) need surgery. As an unemployed uni student she is really struggling to pay back all the bills associated with the vet visits. I know Finn means the absolute world t

I'm still alive, finished my degree, engaged (!!!!) and starting my honours on Indo-pacific bottlenose dolphins!! Life is amazing, but I'm so busy I haven't had time to use dA much, which is sad because I've been missing all my friends on here, and my amazing Noldorin family. Hopefully I'll be putting up (and getting) some awesome new photos of the dolphins, and will be on a bit more? Anyway, please let me know how you've all been!! :D Lara
